Initial Consultation
90 minutes
The initial consultation for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services is a crucial first step in developing individualized support strategies for children and individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other behavioral challenges. At Maiden’s Embrace we recognize the importance of an initial consultation that lays the foundation for effective intervention. Our staff will conduct a 90 minute session either at your home or through Telehealth to determine the best course of action going forward.
Assessments
60-180 minutes
Emphasizing evidence-based practices, ABA assessments are an essential first step in fostering meaningful growth and improving daily functioning. The team at Maiden’s Embrace will determine which assessments your family needs and will conduct observations and interviews with the family. Once the assessments are complete, your family will be provided with the results as well as recommendations for where to go from here.
Follow Ups
90 minutes
Based on the information collected in the initial consultation, Maiden’s Embrace will create a treatment plan for your family. Follow up appointment will consist of training the family in the ABA principles necessary for the client to become more independent. Emotional well-being will also be addressed so that negative behaviors are minimized and replaced with positive coping skills.
